Regulation of Export of Peanuts & Peanut Products
to European Union through control of Aflatoxin.
In order to ensure control of aflatoxins in Peanuts and Peanut products meant for
exports to the EU from India, a system for APEDA registered exporters with
complete transparency and an objective to trace it back to farmer(s), in case of
any EU alerts raised in any of the consignments exported.
The system maintains the following records related to export of Peanuts and Peanut
products.
1. Details of sourcing from Peanut Units.
2. Details of sourcing from Warehouses/Godowns
3. Details of Certificate of Exports and Stuffing Certificates.
4. Procedure for exports of peanuts and peanut products
Exporters create consignments, forward
consignment details to laboratories for testing of aflatoxins and also submit application
for Certificate of Exports.
The checks in the software ensure
that the succeding step can be carried out only if the preceding steps were successfully
complied with.
To use this system the exporter need to logon with the Registration No. (RCMC No.),
USER ID and PASSWORD provided by APEDA.
